Methods & Routines

Anti-Cellulite with Claro
On this page, we explain exactly how to use the Claro Cupper to fight cellulite! From which cup you should use to the perfect routine, everything is covered here!
First: Which cup is best to use?

Standard Cup
This is used with the Claro Cupper. It gives a bit more ‘power’ than the glider and is nice if you're already used to cupping. You place the cup on your skin, press pause, and then glide slowly with the device over your skin. Also with red light.

Pink Cups
First, you vacuum with the device and then disconnect it. You then cup manually. Ideal if you want more control to target hard-to-reach areas, such as the knee pits or the sides of your legs. Without red light, but super focused. Note: for these cups, you need the attachment piece!

Glider
Ideal if you’re just starting to feel a bit more sensitive. This cup glides extra smoothly over the skin and provides a soft, comfortable massage. You use it with the device attached, with red light. Perfect for larger areas such as your thighs, hips, and abdomen.
How does the Claro Cupper work?
The on/off button (bottom button)
The on/off button has 2 functions:
1. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the Claro Cupper on or off.
2. When the Claro Cupper is on, you can press this button once to activate the pulse mode. When this mode is activated, the Claro Cupper will automatically adjust the vacuum by suctioning continuously and releasing it briefly.
The suction strength button (right button)
Press this button briefly to change the suction strength. The suction strength is set to 3 by default, and each time you press it, the suction strength increases by 1.
12 is the highest setting, and if you press it once more, it will reset to 0!
If you don't press the button again, after 1 second, the screen will return to the default display. This also starts the timer, which will count down from 20 minutes!
The red light button (left button)
With this button, you can turn the red light on or off. The red light is turned on by default, so if you press this button once, the red light will turn off!
If you turn off the red light, you will see "00" on the screen, and if you turn it on, you will see "01".
The pause button (top button)
The pause button has 2 functions:
1. If you press the button once, the vacuum suction will pause, and you can begin with the gliding cupping motion. If you don't do this, the Claro Cupper will continue to suction (unless you have it on pulse mode), and cupping will become much harder.
2. If you press this button a second time, it will release the vacuum, and you can easily remove the Claro Cupper from your skin! This works for the standard cup and glider for vacuum release, and for the pink cups, it helps you easily detach the cups from the device when using this function.

Introduction
Standard Cup and Glider
These 2 cups work the same, but have a different function. The standard cup is slightly more intense and covers a larger surface area at once, while the glider is more comfortable if you’re just starting!

Applying Oil
Step 1: Prepare the skin for cupping
1. Clean and dry the skin.
2. Apply a thin layer of oil to the skin.
3. Clean your hands before handling the Claro Cupper; this ensures that not everything gets covered in oil!

Starting with Cupping
Step 2: The cupping
1. Turn on the Claro Cupper and set it to level 1.
2. Once you think the vacuum is strong enough, press the pause button. At first, it's a bit tricky to know when the vacuum is strong enough.
3. Move the Claro Cupper back and forth over your skin. If you want to remove the Claro Cupper from your skin, press the pause button again to release the vacuum!

Aftercare
Step 3: After cupping
1. Massage the skin with your hand to further stimulate the blood circulation.
2. Try to hydrate well after the session, for example, by drinking a cup of tea.
3. Try to eat collagen-rich food, as this helps make your skin even firmer!

Repeat!
Step 5: Make it a habit
1. Try to do a 15-minute session 2 or 3 times a week during the first 5 weeks!
2. Once your cellulite has almost disappeared, you can switch to cupping once a week to maintain your results!

Cupping with the pink cups
With the pink cups, it works a bit differently:
1. Start as you would with the standard cup and glider by applying oil.
2. Attach the Claro Cupper with the attachment piece and place the desired pink cup on your skin.
3. Let the cup create a vacuum, making sure the cup can still move with two fingers.
4. Remove the Claro Cupper from the pink cup and move the cup manually. If you want to keep the vacuum, pull the pin on top of the cup!
5. The aftercare and how often you should cup is the same as with the glider and standard cup!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do all cups work against cellulite?
Yes! All cups are effective against cellulite!
Choose the cup that you find most comfortable and use it for your cupping sessions. The most important thing is that you cup consistently, and it's easiest if you can also cup comfortably!
Here’s a handy overview of the cups:
– Pink cups — use with your hand, more control
– Standard cup — with device, more intense
– Glider — with device, softer and more comfortable
How long should I cup per session?
We recommend cupping for about 15 minutes per session, which usually comes down to 5-10 minutes per area!
So, if you want to cup both legs, cup for 5-10 minutes per leg. If you want to treat both legs and your buttocks, you can do 5 minutes per leg and 5 minutes for both buttocks!
Is it normal to get bruises?
Yes, definitely in the beginning! Your skin needs to get used to the intensity. They usually disappear within a few days. Use enough oil and always start on level 1.
Also, wait until the bruises have faded before you begin a new session!
Can I cup with varicose veins?
Yes, certainly, but we always recommend not to cup directly over the varicose veins. Try cupping around the veins and always start on a low setting.
Always listen to your body, and if in doubt, we recommend contacting a doctor. They can determine what is best for your situation!
